چکیده

The objective of this study was to evaluate biological and phytochemical properties the aqueous extract from leaves Miconia chamissois Naudin (AEMC). Phytochemical were assessed by analyzing chromatographic profile polyphenol content AEMC. Biological evaluation conducted based on cytotoxicity assay evaluating antioxidant, antimicrobial, enzymatic inhibition activities. Results indicated presence phytochemicals in AEMC such as flavonoids polyphenols, including rutin, isoquercitrin vitexin derivatives. showed antioxidant activity, which may be attributed high polyphenolic content. Moreover, demonstrated vitro enzyme activity against tyrosinase alpha-amylase, well low cytotoxicity. On other hand, exhibited weak antimicrobial S. aureus C. albicans. Thus, is a promising alternative search potential drugs for treatment diseases induced oxidative stress inflammation, conditions due hyperpigmentation processes, melisma, diabetes.
